Hi all,
I've recently moved into a role where I will be working with my manager to manage the Governance and Audit processes within Learning and Development for our company.
Although my manager is already knowledgeable in this business area, I wondered if anyone could recommend a course that they have been on that they felt increased their knowledge in these areas? I've had a look on-line and only a couple have really stood out.
We're based in Scotland which seems to limit our options! Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Steph

Which aspect are you looking for a course on Stephanie?
Do you have policy and procedures in place against which to audit? Are they embedded within a Quality Management System?
Here is a very good article from Deloitte on L&D governance. Deloitte article on L&D governance
I expect you have seen courses on Quality system auditing advertised. The auditing courses I have done most recently have been an in -house one which was excellent and a short one dayer on BRC auditing, which was useful in comparing the BRC quality system with the corporate Quality system that we were used to, and the different approaches to auditing recommended by the different organisations.
I'm afraid I can't help on recommending courses, but I have considerable experience in both L&D governance and auditing (including setting up an L&D framework from scratch), so if you have any general questions that I might be able to help with, feel free to message me.
Looking for something on both Governance and / or Auditing Alison.
There are only two of us that do this role, therefore I don't think in-house training is an option unfortunately. I've printed of the article you've suggested and will have a read of this.
Brilliant thank you very much for offering.
Thank you
