In my experience as a trainer I have come across many different versions for session plans - I have my own style which I have attached, but would love to share with my participants other styles which people have come across, find useful etc.
Anyone willing to share and can we "bank" them somewhere? For all to see?

Here is a template that I've used in the past which provides the notes, guidance and structure for facilitators. It highlights the key activities and learning points but the thinking behind the session plan is to provide some guidelines to follow but ultimately the facilitator can use any approach they feel necessary to achieve the learning points.
Hi Krys
For some of the programmes where my content changes in response to the level of knowledge and skills of delegates I use a mind-map format with one page per day. The strands allow me to look at the content, key words, activities, handouts, slides etc and I can have the overview all on one page, and colour-coded. Not the ideal for training others, but it all depends on what works for them. It also allows me to have additional activities and exercises in my 'back pocket' if the learners have a high level of knowledge at the outset, then we can lift the level of the day to suit their needs.
Hi Krys
Thanks for sharing, I haven't got a template as such that I can share but this got me thinking about session structure. This is the approach I used to use when designing a session where face to face approach was the most appropriate method. This would then fit in to a similar template e.g. we didn't capture VAK but were quite descriptive with facilitator notes / guidelines
Timings would depend on the session content but this is the basic outline which is shaped around the practical application of what they are in training for...
