Freedom of Information Requests

Hi all

I was driving into work yesterday and heard an interview with the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey.

What struck me was how a Freedom of Information request had led to the Police and Crime Commissioner being required to share details of how he had intended to deal with the alleged under performance of the then Chief Constable for Surrey.  It made me think about the additional onus on public sector organisations as ordinarily this would be something dealt with internally and confidentially within a private sector organisation.
