Hello All,
I am curious to find out which HR tools/software are you people using at work and its benefits ?
At present, my company does not have a system where we can record and store employees’ information so we have to rely on spreadsheets to store a lot of this information. So we have finally decided to get a software to ease the pain.
Any information would be helpful.
Thank you!

Sheetika

Hi Sheetika
If you are 200 employees I would include Fairsail, Midlands HR, Breathe and PeopleHR in your long list if you haven't already.

Hi Sheetika
Great post. A long time ago when I worked for a medium sized SME with about 300 employees we used PeopleSoft which was an OK product but I think that is more on a reflection of my lack of training on it! The support was good but expensive as I understood it. I am not sure of the size of your Company? When you are deciding which software to choose it is tricky as there are so many providers out there. When I did this for a HR Consultancy business I worked for we set out our criteria and tried to score each product against each one after a beauty parade.
As an aside have you noticed the increase in technology related questions for HR? It would be interesting to see if the syllabus for the CIPD qualification moves more in this direction to reflect the need for HR to be on top of their MI to support business decisions.
All the best

Hi Sarah,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me. I keep reading your comments on various community blogs and it has been great to learn from your knowledge. I did read your suggestions on a different HR systems blog too. A very good point you raised there is Training which is essential whilst we implement any new systems. My company has over 200 employees across UK so we are not looking for an expensive software to begin with. We have a few sessions next week so hoping to find one which meets our requirements.
And I absolutely agree with you, technology has not only changed the work place culture but become vital in carrying out HR functions. Thus, it would be no surprise if we get another E-module added based on HR systems :)

Thanks Sheetika for your kind words.
It is great to get feedback as never sure if my posts are hitting the right spot for the group!
Good luck with finding the right HR system.
