Hi all

I have a client based between Derby and Alfreton, who is offering a fantastic volunteer opportunity for an individual or a couple of individuals working together, to gain some work experience in a busy HR Department within their manufacturing organisation. 

They are looking for individuals who are currently studying for or have recently gained a qualification in HR to provide support to the HR project team in preparation for the introduction of an HR system.  This would ideally suit a Level 3 learner, but Level 5s and 7s may also wish to express an interest if they wish.  No previous HR experience is necessary but a clear understanding of HR principles would be an advantage.  A keen eye for detail and an enthusiastic, flexible and can-do approach to tasks.

This period of volunteering (which is unpaid) will give you some valuable real life experience of an HR Department and exposure to a variety of HR tasks, for a prestigious company.
The company is happy to contribute towards reasonable 'out of pocket' travel costs and provide lunch on a daily basis.  

The period of volunteering is likely to last 4 to 6 weeks and the client is happy to consider full and part time working, for some or all of the period.  They are also happy to consider more than one volunteer on a job share arrangement.
