Driving along on Thursday and heard this on the radio, more woe for Trade Unions and the proposal to cease making deductions of union subs from source within the Public Sector. Otherwise known as Check Off or DOCAS (Deducton of Contributions at Source).
Couldn't help but have a chuckle at the rationale for the proposals included saving admin costs when it is clearly targeted at undermining trade union membership in the Public Sector.
