Hi, I wonder if someone could clarify why part time workers who chose to only work Tuesday & Wednesday are entitled to additional days to compensate for them 'missing out' on bank holidays? Personally, I think this is wrong but is it something they are entitled to by law these days?

There is also an intereting case which you can read about here http://www.personneltoday.com/hr/mcmenemy-v-capita-business-service... where it was found the reason for the treatment was not due ot part time status there were specfics to that case i.e they operated a 7 day week not a 5 day week as most 'normal' businesses.
