Hi
I want to get a couple of text books to support my Level 5 Diploma course I am starting on 1 April. I hear Armstrong's Handbook of HRM is a must have. Any other suggestions greatly received.
Thanks
Lisa

Did you know that if you go to the list of members, the Members Online button will show you who is online right now? Why not say hello?
Did you know your local CIPD branch will put on relevant events that are free to CIPD members.
Take a look for your local branch here and what events are happening. Remember attending these events are great CPD evidence.

For students navigating vast study materials, leveraging an annotated bibliography writing service is invaluable. These services curate comprehensive lists of relevant study books, providing concise summaries and critical analyses. Annotated bibliographies streamline research, enhance understanding, and serve as valuable resources for academic pursuits. They offer clarity and direction, guiding students towards the most impactful study materials tailored to their educational goals.
Hi Lisa
For the employment law module I always recommend this one for my learners:

Make sure you purchase the most up to date one though!

Sarah
Many thanks for that Gary.
Hi Lisa
Some people turn to this book as a core text:
https://www.koganpage.com/product/human-resource-management-at-work...
You get 20% discount as a CIPD member.
It is not a 'must' though. With so much information available on the internet these days (not to mention all the factsheets and journals on the CIPD website) lots of people get everything they need without purchasing books.
Thanks for that reassurance... I was wondering whether books were a necessary addition!
