Hello all,
I hope you are well.
I have recently been successful in an application for a HR Talent Advisor post (I know, fits my name!), and wondered whether anyone has had experience working within Talent Management in implementing/creating a talent strategy etc.
I work for an ALB with a workforce of around 3000 people, many of whom have professional registrations.
Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.
Best wishes,
Mark

Congratulations on the new role!
I was once given responsibility as the talent lead for my part of the business and remember that I found it really useful to go on a CIPD two day talent strategy workshop and it gave me a really good grounding and was practical so I was able to go and implement this back in the workplace. I was also fortunate to be mentored by a very talented talent specialist forgive the pun hope this helps.
Regards
Sarah
Thank you for your reply, which is very helpful.
I'll look into the 2 day course.
Best wishes,
Mark
