Hello
What are other companies doing to show appreciation and recognition to employees who continue to work hard during this exceptionally unusual hot weather spell in the UK? Some of our employees are operating in extreme temperatures within factories with no air con, some are working outside with no escape from the heat or sun. I'm interested to hear about initiatives others are implementing, aside from extra breaks and issuing water bottles, etc.

Take a look for your local branch here and what events are happening. Remember attending these events are great CPD evidence.

Hi Joanne,
It's been pretty hot here, so we made sure that employees could access cold drinks from the office fridge, we provided ice and also the occassional ice cream! Little things, but they did make a positive impact.
