Hi,
I have currently completed my CIPD level 5 and would love to have a mentor in order to help me develop myself further. Could anyone point me in the right direction of the best place to find one. And even more ambitiously is there any experience HR professionals who would offer this.
Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew
Jumping on the bandwagon with the CIPD mentoring scheme! This is a great way to go. CIPD London also sometimes do events where you can meet potential mentors in a 'speed date' format and then put forward your preferences and they try to match you up. There are a few options.
Good luck on the search - really pleased you're going down this route :)
Best wishes

Hi Andrew,
I'm currently part way through my CIPD Level 5 and signed up for a mentor via the CIPD mentoring scheme and have a great mentor now. You just fill in a few questions on line, someone from CIPD calls you and it happens really quickly.
Hope that helps.

Hi Andrew
I was also going to suggest the CIPD mentoring scheme so great to see that Mike has posted the details of this.
Is there anyone else within your business who you can approach? It can often be good development for them so it's a win win.
All the best
Sarah
Hi Andrew
Great idea - have you checked out the Steps Ahead mentoring programme the CIPD run? Info here https://www.cipd.co.uk/learn/volunteer/mentoring
I also read recently that LinkedIn themselves are launching a 'tinder' style app to match people with potential mentorshttps://techcrunch.com/2017/08/03/linkedin-is-rolling-out-a-free-ti...
Good luck with the search
Mike
