Hi all
I noticed a recent couple of articles discussing how as tattoos are becoming increasingly more common that employers should consider relaxing their dress codes. One of the articles below is the Police Federation which suggests that police officers should be allowed to have tattoos on their hand, necks and faces.
I wondered about the approach which your organisation took to tattoos, are they allowed? or is it just specific roles where an applicant would not be progressed on the basis of tattoos e.g. the article refers to cabin crew members and the requirement for no visible tattoos.
It then got me thinking..... given the predominance of tattoos in the 'younger' population (apologies for massive sterotyping here) could there be an angle on some form of age discrimination???
